3 days in the Beautiful Provence, South of France
If you’re flying from Canada or anywhere else we’ve found the easiest and most affordable route is to fly into Paris.
*Google Flights consistently shows the best prices, so we recommend checking there first.
From Paris, there’s a direct high-speed train that will take you straight down to Avignon or Marseille whichever stop you prefer.
From either Avignon or Marseille, the venue is just over an hour’s drive away.
You can book your train tickets here:
OUIGO: https://www.ouigo.com
The Trainline: https://www.thetrainline.com/en-us
We recommend Marseille because the train station has several car rental companies located right inside the station, making pickup super easy. Here’s the exact location:

To keep costs low, many guests may want to rent a car together and share the drive to the venue. And one last tip: pack light if you can we definitely are!
If you want to fly closer to the venue which removes the need for the train ride from Paris here are the best options:
Marseille Provence Airport MRS : One and half hours drive to venue
Avignon – Provence Airport AVN : One and half hours drive to venue
Nice - Côte d'Azur Airport NCE : Largest airport but its two and half hours drive to venue
*Note these flights will most likely be more expensive than the train but be more convenient.
**A Note for Those Flying Into Paris
If you decide to fly into Paris, we really recommend giving yourself a couple of extra days there before making your way down to the venue. It’s such a beautiful city to explore at your own pace-morning walks, little cafés, museums, and just soaking in that Paris feeling.
Arriving early also gives you time to unwind and get over any jet lag so you can start the wedding week rested, relaxed, and fully in holiday mode. Paris is the perfect place to ease into the trip.
